Description of SciTEConfig.exe

What can SciTEConfig do for you:

  1. Set the default operation for .au3 files to Edit or Run.
  2. Set SciTE backup count to the number of backup files you want to keep of your script each time you click save.
  3. Set Auto-Propercase of the SciTE AutoComplete Lua function which will change the keyworks to the proper caps as defined in the config files.
  4. Load the Prodiction or beta Definitions for SciTE.
  5. Define extra Include directories used by AutoIt3 and Au3Check.
  6. Define the Fonts to used.
  7. Define to used spaces or tabs and the Tab size.
  8. Define The color schema to be used or personalize it to your own preferences.
  9. Define which utilities are shown under the Tools menu.

Define the Color Schema to be used:

To change the Font or Colors that SciTE use when editing an AutoIt3 script press Ctrl+1 within SciTE, the below screen will popup.

Change anything you like and press the Update button to save all changes to SciteUser.Properties.
To revert back to the last saved changes click Reset.
To remove all your changes and goback to the defaults click on Remove.
The program will ask to restart SciTE to activate your changes.
The whole color Scheme can be updated to a predefined set by clicking on New and selecting the Scheme to activate.
