Wow! That script is very involved. Everything that I have tested so far works. Great job.

Wow, I'm really impressed!! o.O  - It's being downloaded :(

May I suggest adding hotfile.com to the hosters supported?

By the way can your tool cut and reconnect the internet connection?
I sometimes share special (big) project files with friends via these hosters, and their "Wait 30min" etc. ennoys me...

i like the project in total, but the Gui is much to cluttered.

so much crap on there, why would i need that? all i need is a app that downloads...

but like i said, all in all, a fine coding job

Just a quick word of warning... it is a criminal offence in the US to break the terms of service of a web site, you can go to jail for it. Also, circumventing technical measures that protect copyrighted material is a breach of the DMCA, and AutoIt forums can be compelled to remove your post or even knocked off the internet (potentially along with all the other forums hosted by the same service) if someone complains.

I'm not saying that all this is a good thing or that it should be done, just pointing out how outrageous American law has become.

I totally agree! Internet law in the US is blown way out of proportion. If a company doesn't want to be circumvented or cracked, they should spend more time in their security. Or lower their prices to a reasonable price. If a product has a reasonable price, most people wouldn't bother looking for a crack to it. But you shouldn't be worried about getting caught using this technology. Unless the company catches you specifically, which is highly unlikely, there is really not a whole lot they can do about it (that makes sense and won't cost a fortune).

“As a result of the prosecutor’s highly aggressive, if not unlawful, legal theory,” said Matthew L. Levine, a former federal prosecutor who is a defense lawyer in New York, “it is now a crime to ‘obtain information’ from a Web site in violation of its terms of service. This cannot be what Congress meant when it enacted the law, but now you have it.”

Welcome to the internet. There are a few things on the internet you might not be aware of. Let me introduce you to a couple.

That decision was overturned. It is not illegal or criminal to violate a ToS agreement. The violation of a ToS agreement cannot be the sole basis of criminal behavior. An act that violates a ToS must be criminal to begin with for there to be any criminal offense involved.

The level of animosity on this forum is quite astonishing, I've never encountered the level of vitriol in a technical forum (your post isn't too bad, I'm also referring to many other instances that I've seen recently). OK, I was wrong, it happens sometimes. If that means I'm not welcome here, then I'll move along to a more civilized community.
*Update*: just found the continuation thread on the Chat forum. I will not post further on this subject in this thread.

well you guys are nice to provide me with all that info but I seriously doubt that what I have to worry about (TOS violations)

Anyhow,

Anyone finds this program useful ?! Have you thought something as big and complex as this can/would be written using AU3 ?!

(Post Factum I should've written it in some other language i think, too many scripts that I had to write from scratch instead of using own made libraries that can be found for other languages and so ON...)

I love the program! The GUI is kinda annoying to work with, but once you figure it out its not so bad. Its actually nice to be able to download continuously from many of the popular host sites. :) tyvm for your work :( Definitely one of the best things I've downloaded.

@Asilium
Thanks for the supporting comment !!!

Actually I've been kind of neglecting it (completely) lately since I don't really think anyone is liking it and it takes too much of my time and money...

Hopefully I'll get around to it sometime soon and update the downloading plugins and some of the other faults in it...

Have a nice day,
SK.

I would like to see mediafire added to the list of supported sites, as they have no wait times and quick downloads.

When I read the title I thought it would be like rapidquer, but this has a full blown GUI and search... impressive.

@corgano
It already supports it though I'm not sure the plugin is up to date and running ... like I said... Haven't updated the plugins in a long while now (2+ months)

EDIT:
it should even support resuming downloads from MF...

Have a nice day,
SK.

Hi Armand,

I know it's forbidden to ask for the source in this forum, so I won't.
But just letting you know that I would almost kill to get my hands on the source code ;-)

Since you said it yourself that you don't have much time and money to invest into this awesome project,
I'm more than willing to help with as much as I can to not let this fantastic project die.
I'm sure others would love to contribute too.

However, thanks for this great app!
