I've just updated SciTE Jump with emphasis towards improving the source code and fixing reported issues. Download is available in the original post.

Changelog:

- ADDED: Dropping a folder onto the GUI to add to the combobox for searching within files.
- ADDED: x64 version of SciTE Jump.
- FIXED: Issue with the SciTE Jump not closing if SciTE was closed and the application was minimised.
- FIXED: Issue with images not showing on the buttons in Windows XP. (Thanks to MvGulik)
- IMPROVED: The finding in files feature, now it won't read the file until the find input box is empty or the refresh button is selected.

This version includes a couple of fixes and a lot of new additions, plus I've organised the source code removing unnecessary functions. Details are available in the original post. Thanks.

Changelog:

- ADDED: Additional lookup for the comments ;<plusspace> and ;<minusspace>.
- ADDED: Change the working directory of SciTE to the directory of the file currently being edited.
- ADDED: Exporting to Latex.
- ADDED: GUI out of bounds check (Thanks to wraithdu)
- ADDED: List unused functions in the export functions feature.
- ADDED: Restart option to the system menu for restarting SciTE Jump and SciTE. The session will be resumed once SciTE has succesfully loaded.
- ADDEd: Right click selection of an item.
- ADDED: Search within the 'finding in files' results to narrow down the search.
- ADDED: Start SciTE if currently not available. (This works if SciTE Jump has been run once when SciTE was open.)
- ADDED: The ability to cancel when finding text inside files.
- FIXED: GUI would be inactive if started with an empty document in SciTE.
- FIXED: Issue with array out of bounds when nothing was found using _FindInFile.
- IMPROVED: Interaction with SciTE.

Just tying out the following feature.

- ADDED: Start SciTE if currently not available. (This works if SciTE Jump has been run once when SciTE was open.)

Think this part might be in need of some additional tweaking.

After starting SciTe-Jump (+scite4autoit3 by way of SciTe-Jump) SciTe-Jump ends up ...
- as separate icon in taskbar.
- not linked to SciTe(editor) window. (gets hidden by Scite(editor) if Scite(editor) is given focus.)
- saying "File doesn't exist". (even if the active file in Scite(editor) was a au3 file.)

(looks like a potential linkup hickup between the apps).(SciTE Jump v1.5.19.19).(XP.Pro.32-bit.SP3)

Didn't realise anyone read the changelogs

I've just tested in the new version and it seems you're correct, something is broken. I will have a fix in the next couple of hours.

Edit: FAIL of the week, I'm using ProcessWait with a PID, that'll be fixed in the next release.

Now officially included in the SciTE4AutoIt3 package.

I've made a small minor update without changing the version number due to a change in location, instead of being located in the %AUTOITDIR%SciTESciTE Jump folder it's now installed in the %AUTOITDIR%SciTESciTEJump folder, therefore I updated to ensure any possible updates I do will work for the official version.

I suggest to download the latest version of SciTE4AutoIt3 to accommodate the above change.

Can you explain what the folder icon button is used for? I click on it and it asks me to "Select a folder to search for a specific keyword", what exactly is it searching for, because it doesn't appear to actually do anything, or I'm missing something basic. I read the readme that comes with it, but that's not clarifying it for me. Thanks.

From the Readme text file ...

The input in the lower portion of the GUI is for searching a keyword within an AutoIt script, you can change the location to search by selecting the folder icon.

So you can either drop a folder on to SciTE Jump or select it via the small icon, but essentially the input next to the folder icon is for searching keywords within files in the folder you selected, it will also recursively search. Once you've entered the keyword e.g. myFunction hit the 'ENTER' key and it will start to populate the files in the treeview. If you select a file it will open up in SciTE and to get back to the functions view, hit 'Refresh'

Note: I used _FindInFile() for this feature.
