rcmaehl,

Thanks. Just to note some of the errors you pointed out were already fixed in the latest Beta or didn't require any changing, but thanks for the noticing the spelling mistakes.

Bare in mind that I've now changed all instances of colour or adminstrator (for example) throughout the Help file.

Ah. I'm used to seeing "Minor HelpFile Changes" in Changelogs. However, I forgot that the AutoIt Changelog is always being changed, and adding that would be redundant.

My UDFs are generally for me. If they aren't updated for a while, it means I'm not using them myself. As soon as I start using them again, they'll get updated.

Current Projects:

IRC UDF, for IRC activities

SafeExecute, for picking and choosing what commands you want Execute to be able to run.

I'd like to suggest a documentation change, or clarification.

In the help file for certain functions, there is this description "The width of the control (default is the previously used width).", now I've never run into an issue with this before because I've always manually sized my controls as needed for what I'm doing with them. Today however, I was quickly throwing together a script and happened to use GUICtrlCreateCombo and GUICtrlCreateInput, and I didn't specify a width/height for either of them. I had also placed a label above both of those controls, also not specifying a width/height because I let them be auto-sized to the text in them. When I displayed the GUI, I noticed that the controls had sized themselves to the size of the label above it. I think it would be helpful to have mentioned in the help file for these types of controls, that use that sizing method, to mention that the default is the width of the previous control created regardless of what type of control that was. The description above could suggest that it takes the width of the previously created control of that type. Just a thought.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to an XP machine, and I'm not going to.

OK. Though any styles should be moved to the default.css file. Plus, I used HTML Tidy (search on the Internet) to tidy the files and find any errors.

i want to suggest, to move "VarGetType" from "Misc. Management" to "Variables and Conversions", where "isInt", "isArray" .. also are located. thats, where i expected to find it, because it is the same context.

MAXCALLRECURSE 5100 Maximum number of times the Call() function can recurse to itself.
MAXEXECUTERECURSE 5100 Maximum number of times the Execute() function can recurse to itself.

According to the help file (in AutoIt Limits/Defaults section), these two values seem to be unobtainable in the real world. Under x64 you can get to 3899 recursions before it crashes, under x86 you can only get to 1899 before it crashes. Either this is a theoretical limit and can't normally be obtained and that should be mentioned in the help file somewhere, or this limit isn't actually the real limit for these. See this thread for real world numbers running a recursion test on various OSes and OSArches.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to an XP machine, and I'm not going to.
