Hello all,

well, I have a script that already replace a string with a file content, replace a string line and it works but the problem is with one specific file, where I'm doing the changes that don't allow me to do a "simple" replace from "xxx" to "yyy". I tested this with my own functions, with other ones, create a file with that string and use one method I use in my script but just can't do this thing to move! :

here goes my script to get an idea... (ps: it's not perfect and clean because allways in change)

Attached Files

m00s,

A lot of references to .mw3 files in that script - it would not have anything to do with Modern Warfare 3 by any chance? ;)

You have read the Forum Rules I hope? :)

m00s,

You have not given us enough information to help you. None of us have any idea what this .mw3 file looks like and what it is you are trying to change within it, so how do you expect us to offer any help. Furthermore, your code is uncommented - how are we supposed to determine what it is supposed to do? ;)

We are not mind-readers - if you want help then I suggest you start giving us some more details about the script, the files it uses and what you are trying to do with them. :)
