See http://registry.net.za/content.php?wiki=1&contentid=112&title=What%20is%20EPP? - it is a technical document on how that particular domain registrar wants things done in the future.
This domain registrar conforms to the provision of http://archive.icann.org/en/registrars/redemption-supplement-20feb02.htm in its entirity
In fact, the domain registrar is actively pushing for this technology to be implimented by all parties for use in checking the status of domains as well as registering of domains.
And the protocol that is to be used is the [heavily redacted - dont say those satanic words]
All I want is to see when the FINAL grace period has expired using something other than a web browser and my memory.
Seems like all the holier than thou moderators on this forum think that this perfectly legal and accptable methodology (as far as the registrar is concerned) is a crime.
It is not - I have already checked with them.
So guys, please climb off of your sanctimonious high horse - its not like anything illegal is being suggested.
In fact, the domain registrar is actively pushing for this technology to be implimented by all parties for use in checking the status of domains as well as registering of domains.
If you think that I have overstepped the mark by daring to question the opinions of the moderator class or by trying to implement a valid protocol in a valid and legal way as per the requirements of the parties that I am attempting to deal with, please feel free to terminate my membership
Thus ends the sermon.

You are doing something that makes you by definition a parasite.Even a dungbeatle is more righteous than the type of parasite you are. Why don't you exercise your talent on something which benefits all parties involved.
There are logical and fair reasons why someone can pick up an expired registry, but what you are looking to do is not it.

You do live up to your avatar - pretty well chosen I would say!
As the "holier than thou moderator" who locked your previous thread and who saw you were posting again, I thought I might respond to this first - I see that I was beaten to it.
You need to understand that we run this forum, not you, and we will decide what is an acceptable topic and what is not. I have decided that "domain sniping" is not acceptable. End of story.
Now we turn to the "daring to question the opinions of the moderator class" comment. You are quite at liberty to question me when I lock your thread - although I would suggest a PM is probably a better way to do it. But I also have the liberty to decide that my original decision will stand and that the thread remains locked and the subject taboo.
As to terminating your membership, why should I? You have merely asked about a topic which has been determined as not one we wish to discuss - unless you continue to perturb the forum with posts like this then you are more than welcome to stay. Besides, you paid nothing to download AutoIt and join this forum - so you can just leave when you wish. And you may find other uses for AutoIt in the future which are less contentious.

Agreed, M23 is smooth, although not nearly as funny as our favorite misanthrope.
