Variable Error

I get an error periodically that a certain variable is being used without first being declared.

I encountered this again today while trying to look at an example posted by jpm. This time it was the $stderr_child variable in an example for the StdoutRead function. I'm thinking that maybe during the Beta install, some of my contant include files didn't install correctly. Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Don't know for sure without knowing how you're running your script; e.g. by "running" the .AU3 file with a double-click, or as a compiled script, or from the SciTE editor... If you're compiling your scripts from the "Compile script to .exe" shortcut it would make a difference whether you use the shortcut from the AutoIt v3 program menu or the AutoIt v3 | beta program menu.

If there's a question if your include scripts are wrong you can find them at "C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\Include" or "C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\beta\Include" (unluess you chose a different path at install time...)

Yes yes yes, there it was. Youth must go, ah yes. But youth is only being in a way like it might be an animal. No, it is not just being an animal so much as being like one of these malenky toys you viddy being sold in the streets, like little chellovecks made out of tin and with a spring inside and then a winding handle on the outside and you wind it up grrr grrr grrr and off it itties, like walking, O my brothers. But it itties in a straight line and bangs straight into things bang bang and it cannot help what it is doing. Being young is like being like one of these malenky machines.
