This is the who, how long and why thread for people who've been banned from the forum. I saw a thread like this on Penny-Arcade's forum and I suspect it's a common thing on forums. I liked the idea and since the "twat to norm ratio seems a bit off", here we are.

AceLoc was put on a 24 hour ban for trolling. I told him to stop his "shitfox" comment but he didn't listen (Claims he didn't see my post). He decided he wanted to leave the forum. I explained to him, leaving was his choice but the reason he was banned for such a minor thing was because everybody was tired of his antics so he was pretty much in zero-tolerance mode for bannable offenses. He wanted to know if he could be allowed to make his last topic since he was leaving. I told him when the 24 hour ban was up. Previously I had also warned him both times that I banned him that arguing with me over the ban would result in an extension. After I denied his request to remove the ban early so he could make his last topic, he had the response "Fucking cunt" which earned him a 7-day ban.

Swent banned indefinitely. Swent's actions are a prime example of trolling and given that the thread where the troll was trolling was about another trolling troll, I think it goes without saying that trolling is bad.

Edit: Removed ban after 24 hours. Next ban from me will be permanent, however.

The answer to this is irrelevant. If you are thinking of evading the ban in some manner, that will only increase the duration.

Trigg3r is Pr0t0n so both accounts are banned 3 days for evading the original ban. Amusingly enough, there was only 9 hours on the original ban when it was evaded.

So let's summarize. Started out as a simple 1-day ban for somebody over-reacting and using loads of profanity something that wasn't really a big deal. Then they get all cocky and brag about how they will just evade the ban. That earns them a 2 day ban. With 9 hours left on the 2 day ban, they evade. So now we're up to 3 days on top of 2 already. All because the user doesn't know when to keep their mouth shut.

To be more specific, Larry banned "Hojima" for being a "crack addict". Larry always has good stuff in those warn messages.

t0ddie banned for 6 days (What I can I say, I couldn't decide on 5 or 7 and hit 6 accidentally). The reason is mostly because I just plain don't like him but being a public nuisance works, too.
