New dev-team idea..

 Share

Recommended Posts

Now I know the whole 'dev-team' thing hasn't worked very well in the past here... but I would like to give it another try.

My latest (uncreative, i know) idea: a hacking simulation game. This would be pretty cool, we just need to set up something to emulate a command prompt.. who's up for it?

Or any other ideas I will take into consideration also.. I just think dev-teams are way more fun than doing things by yourself. And it helps when you're making something that would be REALLY hard to make on your own (i'm not saying the shell emulation would be hard.. wait.. it kinda would)

Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

I direct your attention here:

Note, that i like these kinds of games, and there is a group out there that are making a rather full on version (forget its name  ) but its kind of an MMO world, you download the game, and it comes up like a custom GUI, its all very creative and well done. there are a few games like it actually.

these kinds of games are reffered to as "cyberpunk" (or used to be in the good ol'days)

Also, i think this is more of a place for C++ devs of AutoIt to chat.. meh.

I was always thinking about making one of these, although I wanted to make it online! Hack other users, have a currency etc..

I've thought about this too. Surely, it exists.

Well that doesn't mean we can't make a better one!

Wow that sounds like a line from a cheesy kid's movie..

So what ever happened to this idea? Heh...

I think that like most other ideas of this type it had it's 24 hours of fame and then died of natural causes.
