Mat
I'm sure I've seen this done - but I can't work out how... I have three variables; $input, $button and $browse (and $msg) If I use this code (slightly over simplified...): how do i get $input to update itself with the result of $Browse GuiCreate ("shizzle") $Input = GuiCtrlCreateInput(""); I tried setting this to $browse, but that doesn't work $button = GuiCtrlCreateButton("Browse") Guisetstate() While 1 $msg = GuiGetMsg() Select Case $msg = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE ExitLoop Case $msg = $button $browse = FileOpenDialog ("Browse", "C:\", "All Files (*.*)") endselect to clarify: you need to be able top type in responses aswell as browse, and it needs t update the box so the item can be seen and edited. could I put something in the case after fileopendialog to update $input??
