Sweet idea!

Perhaps, @MyPCTweet Autoit#WinSetTitle('test', '', 'test')

So you can run any autoit line you want. Now that would be useful!

Ver 1.1.0.2

This is cool!! ...I tried to use as many of the text characters twitter allows with Autoit code!

@MyPcTweet Autoit#While 1|ToolTip("x =" & MouseGetPos(0) & "," & "y =" &  MouseGetPos(1), 10, 10, "MyPCTweet & Autoit", 1)|Sleep(9)|WEnd

.. and it worked... Awesome!!!

Sweet! I've never used twitter so I have no idea how it works=)

I've been writing something exactly the same as this but for email. I can send an email to myself and it reads it/parses it from the 'mobile.emailprovider' site. Depending on who it's from or what the text is it can perform PC actions like editing the attached photo, doing math operations, or simply just forwarding the message to me as plain text.

Great idea on the ability to run Au3 lines of code. I'll have to do that on this=)

Stuff you could add:

1) Math functions. Ability to do heavier math from a mobile text message would be sweet.

1) INI based code system. You could add in more functionality to this script by using an INI in the script folder to parse out commands and what script it should run.

CODE
[RunEmail]

Script=C:\Users\NAME\Desktop\Email.au3

Between those two and what you have here already, you could pretty much be able to control or do anything from a mobile phone. :D

Thanks for the reply Guys!!!

I fixed the spelling Ken, Thx (AFAIK)

@Szhlopp, Thx

1

I don't understand how that math could "help" the cell phone, plus you can run a script to complete that task. I do know that iPhone has thousands of apps.

2

[RunEmail]

Script=C:\Users\NAME\Desktop\Email.au3

I actually have this use with the program selection already for the "Run" Program#1 and Program#2 commands. However, that would probably error.

But, that can be ran if you type in

@MyPcTweet Open#C:\Users\NAME\Desktop\Email.au3

Depending on your settings ( File association ) it will run OR it will open in SciTe

Autoit Installation defaults to "Run"

I might try to manipulate the Autoit# or something???

Thx again and good luck on your progy too!

@All, Anyone Like the New Look??

I like the look. Infact, I signed up on twitter just to try this.

Doesn't seem to work correctly though. I tried your multi-line autoit command, and it threw a COM error. Here's my tweet: http://twitter.com/firestormpcc

Error: http://i42.tinypic.com/2a7ad7n.jpg

Yeah, I downloaded that lastest.

And, perhaps. My friend made this account for me awhile back I guess, since I refused to. But now I guess I have a use for it.

I restarted my computer, let me try again.

EDIT: Just plain doesn't seem to work now. No error or anything, just the command doesn't run.

I did not see your second script on my Twitter, that is because the program will not allow you to run the same code twice...

(that's for error checking too!)

Test another code, then you can try that one again.

Try something simple like

"@MyPcTweet Message#I Like This!"

Seems to work now. I think it was a problem with a window coming up. http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/10/capturelpd.jpg

It comes up every time I enter a command, and the program sees it. If I click No, the command completes. But it comes up EVERY time.

I don't know what to do either. Never seen the window before. Perhaps you could have your program look for the window as it looks for the command, and just have it select No every time.
