Go to [b]Start[/b] > [b]My Computer[/b]
Go to [b]Tools[/b] > [b]Folder Options[/b]
Click on the [b]View[/b] tab
Untick the following:[list]
[*][b]Hide extensions for known file types[/b]
[*][b]Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)[/b]
[/list]You will get a message warning you about showing protected operating system files, click [b]Yes[/b]
Make sure this option is selected:[list]
[*][b]Show hidden files and folders[/b]
[/list]Click [b]Apply[/b] and then click [b]OK[/b]

Go to [b]Start[/b] > [b]Control Panel[/b] > [b]Add or Remove Programs[/b].

Remove the following programs, if they are present.

@@@@@Programs to Delete@@@@@

[b]Run [color=blue]HijackThis[/color][/b].
Click on [b]Do a system scan only[/b].
Place a checkmark next to these lines (if still present).

[/b]

Then close all windows except [color=blue][b]HijackThis[/b][/color] and click [b]Fix Checked[/b].

[b]Restart[/b]

Use [color=blue][b]Windows Explorer[/b][/color] to find and delete these [b]files[/b] if they exist. If they don't, let me know:
@@@@@Files to delete@@@@@

And these [b]folders[/b]:
@@@@@Folders to delete@@@@@

To delete C:\WINDOWS\[b]badfile.dll[/b]
Double click the [b]My Computer[/b] icon on your Desktop. Or click on the Windows KEY + E.
Double click on [b]Local Disc (C:\)[/b]
Double click on the [b]Windows[/b] folder,
Right click on [b]badfile.dll[/b] and then from the menu that appears, click on [b]Delete[/b][/color][/i]

Finally, please post a new [color=blue][b]HijackThis[/b][/color] log, and a description of any remaining problems.
