In Hangman “Big_Daddy Style”, a single player attempts to determine a secret word by guessing the letters which might be in it, one or more at a time.

In the beginning, one letter is displayed for the word. For each submission that contains at least one letter, your guess is compared to the word. If the number of letters in your guess are less than or equal to, the number of missing letters, then for each letter of your guess, it is compared to its corresponding missing letter. Otherwise, each letter of your guess is compared to its corresponding letter starting from the beginning of the word.

For example, let’s say you start with “_ _ _ p _”. As our guess we type “ssss”, which in return gives us “s _ _ p s”. We now have a pretty good idea what it might be so we try “to”, which gives us the correct word “stops”.

Every 20 seconds, a body part is drawn on the scaffold. If all letters in the word are guessed before a complete body is drawn, you win that round, starting a new round. If not, you lose, and points are subtracted.

Note: The game will pause if the window losses focus. Therefore if you press the spacebar while the game is active it will minimize, pausing the game.
