How to make a hotkey back to it's previous state...

Recommended Posts

when I launch my script, it has no hotkeys, but once I press SCROLL LOCK (_IsPressed("91", user32.dll)), I make NUMPAD5 as hotkey. Now, my question is: How to return numpad to it's previous state? Before it became hotkey, so, if I press SCROLL LOCK again I should use NUMPAD5 as NUMPAD5, and not as hotkey to launch notepad?

#include <Misc.au3>
$dll5 = DllOpen("user32.dll")
$i = 0
func launch ()
    run ("notepad.exe")
EndFunc

func test ()
if $i = 0 then
    hotkeyset("{NUMPAD5}", "launch")
    $i = 1
Else
;~  Now what? What should I put in this line to make NUMPAD5 as NOT HOTKEY, to return it to the previous state, before it became HOTKEY?
    $i = 0
EndIf
EndFunc

While 1
    If _IsPressed("91", $dll5) Then
        call ("test")
    EndIf
WEnd
DllClose($dll5)

Hm... it is not correct in the help file - “Leave blank to unset a previous hotkey” should be - “Do not use this parameter to unset a previous hotkey”...

Because if you leave this blank, then will be an error: “Unknown function name”

You can have more than 1 hotkeyset, but you have to be sure that it isn't already used by another program which might use it before your script does. F8 is used in SCite to toggle the edit window size for example, F5 is usually usually used to refresh the display. It might be safer to choose combinations like Ctrl F5 and Ctrl F6 (i.e. "^{F5}" and "^{F6}")
