2000 Pro and 2000 Server?

Recommended Posts

This should be the same for W2k as it is in XP:

$ver = RegRead("HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\ProductOptions", "ProductType")
If $ver = "WinNT" then MsgBox(4096, @OSVersion , "Your system is a workstation")
If $ver = "ServerNT" then MsgBox(4096, @OSVersion , "Your system is a server")

It is not possible to manipulate this entry, so this method is the best.
