How to get each IE object from Winlist?

Recommended Posts

I want to log all URL addresses from all opened IEs. I'm using Winlist to get all running IEs and loop it to check the URL out. But I failed to get IE object. Could anyone help me out? Thank you very much!

Here goes the code:

; Get all Win Apps.
$var = WinList()

For $i = 1 to $var[0][0]
; Only display visble windows that have a title
  If $var[$i][0] <>"" AND IsVisible($var[$i][1]) Then
        $windowTitle = $var[$i][0]
; Check if the current window is a IE window
If (StringInStr($windowTitle, "Windows Internet Explorer", True))   Then
            MsgBox(0, "Details", "Title=" & $var[$i][0] & @LF & "Handle=" & $var[$i][1])
            ; Get current IE object.
$oIE = _IEAttach ("Windows Internet Explorer", "Title", $i)
            $oWeb = _IEGetObjByName ($oIE, $windowTitle)
            ;Get URL.
            $UrlAddress=_IEPropertyGet($oWeb,"locationurl")
            MsgBox(0, "Address URL", $UrlAddress)
        EndIf
  EndIf
Next

See _IEAttach and the $i_instance parameter and the discussion in the Remarks section (also see the last example for _IEAttach in the helpfile).

Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?
