ctyankeeinok
I am automating an installation program and would like to be able to select an entry in the list box. However, when I tab to the list, it only supports selecting the first character. I can hit the down key x number of times, but I would like to be able to select the specific item. How is this done? The AutoIT v3 Window Info tool does identify the instance of the control but nothing else. Am I stuck with using cursor controls? ctyankeeinok
Since no one replied (perhaps my question was obtuse) and I did eventually figure it out, I will share. I have been learning all about the ControlCommand and associated functions. In the Help, look for Function Reference->Window Management->Controls. Using the AutoIT Window Info, Control Tab, I used the Finder Tool to highlight the control and then used the control[...] functions to navigate my way around. Perhaps this will be helpful to someone else who is just starting with this tool.
