nitekram
I want to create a typing test with AutoIt and want to know if is possible to do the following, and if so, can someone lead me in the right direction. 1. Display the text that is to be typed. I can do this... 2. Have an input field for the user to type the test text. I can do this... 3. Keep track of all failed attemps to type the correct letters. I AM UNABLE to do this 4. Start a timer for the length of time it takes to complete test text. I can do this... 5. Show how long the test took and how many errors were created. I know that this is just the basic, but I am really stuck on number 3. 2¢ All by me:"Sometimes you have to go back to where you started, to get to where you want to go." JSThePatriot
To do it with any accuracy, you would need a keyboard hook. You can search the Example Scripts forum and see if there are any useful keyboard hooks in there... I hope that helps.
