In Scite4. When clicking F1 for Help, i get an error msg that says:

Error while launching: "C:Program Files\AutoIt3\AutoIt3Help.exe" File not found.

I am running under Vista, where things are installed automatically in ...\Program Files (x86)\,

not in ...\Program Files\ .

Please, how can i tell SCite4 where the files actually exists?

Thanks..vm

"Change the path, how hard is it? "

Brilliant!

Change it where?

Thanks..vm

In SciTE: Options/Open au3.properties... and change the path on this line:

autoit3dir=C:\Program Files\AutoIt3

.. and you could tone down a little on those smart remarks as you have even problems finding your own posts. >_<

These are the options available on OPTIONS menu:

Open local options file

Open directory options file(greyed out)

Open user options file

Open global options file

None of them have a 'look in directory option'.

I see a 'AutoitEditor-01.au3.AE.ini' that i changed to:

[settings]

Target=C:\Program Files (86)\AutoIt3\Projects-vm\AutoitEditor-01.exe

Icon=C:\Program Files (86)\AutoIt3\Projects-vm\Helps-Docs-Downloads\AutoIt Editor-zip\Icons\au3.ico

Compression=Normal

Passphrase=1

AllowDecompile=1

But still no HELP F1 visible. Still need help.

Thanks..vm

Go to C:\Program Files (86)\Autoit3\SciTE\properties\au3.properties

open it with SciTE or another text editor

change line 7 to the path of your Autoit installation

First open a file in SciTE that has an .AU3 extension or else none of the AutoIt3 options are enabled!!! Edited by Jos

Yes, i did that.

I finally got F1 working by: creating a C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\ Folder and putting all the HELP files in there.

I was also able to enlarge the Font in Scite help by enlarging the Font in F1 Help. Strange.

But am still unable to enlarge the Font in FuncPopUp. I am a Senior Citizen, and Large print in a must.

Any tips you can give me are Greatly appreciated.

Thanks..vm
