Dale's functions in the IE.au3 UDF use the application object:
$ieobj = ObjCreate("InternetExplorer.Application")

You cannot act upon a Shell.Explorer object until it is given a container.

See the examples for GuiCtrlCreateObj or _IECreateEmbedded

Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?

Reproducer: a small (the smallest?) piece of stand-alone code that demonstrates your trouble

  • 2 weeks later...

Anyone know how to move xpixels down and x to the right within the shell as a fixed position?

Don't hijack someone else's topic. Start your own.

:)

P.S. And use the search before you do that. It's been posted before.
