Initializing array with lots of data

Hi,

How would you go initializing an array with _much_ more data than can fit on a 4095 character line (continued or not)?

Local Const $data[248][64] = [ _

[0xffff, 0x1234, ... , 0x8f5b], _

[0xa4f0, 0x2345, ... , 0x0e84], _

...

]

Of course I can still put the data in a file and fetch from there, but I'd like to keep code and data together in a single file.

Any idea?

I have just idea for dirty workaround: Use more smaller array variables and concatenate them at start of your script by _ArrayConcatenate()

Unfortunately _ArrayConcatenate() from the AutoIt UDF only works for 1 dimensional arrays. To work with 2 dimensions (as your example suggests) you would need something like this.

That is a possibility. I already have a whole set of array functions doing this and much more for dimensions up to 4.

Well I was thinking of a more sneaky/dirty way to get around the 4095 limit. Before encountering this problem I believed the 4095 limit was on a _source_ line basis, but it is on a _logical_ line basis. Continuaion or not, 4095 is clearly not enough for all cases.

I'll embed the data and a few routines handling it in a C .dll file; this will also make using it much faster (these are Unicode tries).
