Uh, Does AutoIt cann't convert?

You can convert between image formats, but the alpha channel in pngs will get lost I think.

#include <GDIPlus.au3>

Opt("MustDeclareVars", 1)

Global $sImage, $hImage, $sCLSID

; Initialize GDI+ library
_GDIPlus_StartUp()

; Load image
$hImage   = _GDIPlus_ImageLoadFromFile(@ScriptDir & "\Torus.png")
; Get JPG encoder CLSID
$sCLSID = _GDIPlus_EncodersGetCLSID("JPG")

; Save image as JPG
_GDIPlus_ImageSaveToFileEx($hImage, @ScriptDir & "\torus1.jpg", $sCLSID)

; Shut down GDI+ library
_GDIPlus_ShutDown()

But you can show png images in AutoIt. See the examples in

Program Files\AutoIt3\Examples\GUI\Advanced

and in various places in these forums.
