I found this piece of hardware on EBay and decided to order it:item: 380149028191My linkWhen I got it, it was fairly straight forward but had some issues trying to use AutoIt with it. So I found a datasheet on this chip on a German website and was able to write some functions to read and write to it directly to/through the driver.The CH341A is actually quite an interesting chip. It has different modes yet natively understands USB protocol.
