Move windows together

I can't find how to do it. Is there a way to move 2 windows together? I'd like to drag a gui, move it and keep another gui in the same relative position.

SFTPEx, AutoCompleteInput_DateTimeStandard(), _ImageWriteResize()_GUIGraduallyHide(): some AutoIt functions.

lupo73,

A pair of synchronised GUIs: :)

; Credit to MikeOsdx and GaryFrost for original code snippet

#include <GuiConstantsEx.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>

$hGUI1 = GUICreate ("Test1", 150, 100, -1, -1)
GUISetState()

; Get position of GUI1 and set GUI2 coords
$aPos1  = WinGetPos($hGUI1)
$iX1 = $aPos1[0]
$iY1 = $aPos1[1]
$iX2 = $iX1 + 156
$iY2 = $iY1

$hGUI2 = GUICreate ("Test2", 150, 100, $iX2, $iY2)
GUISetState()

;Register move event
GUIRegisterMsg($WM_MOVE, "MY_WM_MOVE")

; Set dock flag
$Dock = 2

While 1

    Switch GUIGetMsg()
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE

    ElseIf ($aPos1[0] <> $iX1 Or $aPos1[1] <> $iY1) And BitAND(WinGetState($GUI1), 16) Then
        WinSetState($GUI2, "", @SW_MINIMIZE)

        WinSetState($GUI1, "", @SW_MINIMIZE)
    ElseIf ($aPos1[0] <> $iX1 Or $aPos1[1] <> $iY1) And BitAND(WinGetState($GUI1), 2) Then

        WinSetState($GUI1, "", @SW_RESTORE)

    EndIf
EndFunc  ;==>_SynchroGUIs

You will need to play about with the coords to fit it to your GUIs of course. :)

I can't find how to do it. Is there a way to move 2 windows together? I'd like to drag a gui, move it and keep another gui in the same relative position.

A simpler version where only one window follows the other

; *** Start added by AutoIt3Wrapper ***
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>
; *** End added by AutoIt3Wrapper ***
#AutoIt3Wrapper_Add_Constants=n
Global Const $WM_ENTERSIZEMOVE = 0x231, $WM_EXITSIZEMOVE = 0x232

$gp = GUICreate("main gui", 300, 300, 200, 200)
GUISetState()
$gs = GUICreate("dragged gui", 200, 150, 400, 400)
GUISetState()

Global $RelPos[2]
GUIRegisterMsg($WM_ENTERSIZEMOVE, "setrelpos")
GUIRegisterMsg($WM_MOVE, "followme")

While 1
    If GUIGetMsg() = -3 Then Exit
WEnd

Func followme($hW, $iM, $wp, $lp)

    If $hW <> $gp Then Return

    Local $xypos = WinGetPos($gp);use WingetPos rather than the values in $lP
    WinMove($gs, "", $xypos[0] - $RelPos[0], $xypos[1] - $RelPos[1])

EndFunc ;==>followme

;When the primary window starts moving we want to know the relative position of the secondary window.
Func SetRelPos($hW, $iM, $wp, $lp)

    If $hW <> $gp Then Return

    Local $gpp = WinGetPos($gp)
    Local $gsp = WinGetPos($gs)

    $RelPos[0] = $gpp[0] - $gsp[0]
    $RelPos[1] = $gpp[1] - $gsp[1]

EndFunc ;==>SetRelPos
