Problems with multiple radio buttons

Recommended Posts

I tried to write a GUI with 4 radio buttons in it, but they are divided into 2, something like Firewall on, off and security center on, off.

The design is like this:

Firewall Security Center

O On O On

O Off O Off

4 radio buttons with 2 controls.

But when I use the following scripts, ALL the radio buttons are joined together:

GUICreate("Multiple Radio buttons", 500, 350)
GUISetState()

GUICtrlCreateRadio("This is radio A", 10 , 10, 100)
GUICtrlCreateRadio("This is radio B", 10 , 35, 100)

GUICtrlCreateLabel("A and B should be in a control", 10, 60)

GUICtrlCreateRadio("This is radio 1", 10 , 80, 100)
GUICtrlCreateRadio("This is radio 2", 10 , 115, 100)

GUICtrlCreateLabel("1 and 2 should be in a control", 10, 135)

GUICtrlCreateLabel("But now A, B, 1 and 2 are all mixed. How can you separate them?", 10, 150)

While 1
WEnd

How can I solve the problem?

Thx in advance.multiple_radio.au3

Please see GUIStartGroup. In the help file you'll find a good example.

Glad to be of service!

Please also have a look at GUICtrlCreateGroup. That not only groups the Radio controls together but draws the line around them as well.
