Hi, I am writing to ask if anyone can provide any assistance to script the following:

Run App1

Wait X Seconds

Run App2

And I want it to be all hidden so users dont close anything.

Does anyone now the commands/syntax to use this in a batch file to be executed.

thanks

regards

Dennis

Are you asking how this can be coded in AutoIt3 or in a BAT file?

First option: start with opening the helpfile and looking for runwait and sleep.

Second option: You are at the wrong forums.

menace,

First, welcome to the AutoIt forums.

When you post here it always helps if you have had a go at solving your problems beforehand. Having some code to work on is a great help - and no-one here is too keen to help the "code it for me" brigade. :)

Reading the Help file (at least the first few sections - Using AutoIt, Tutorials and the first couple of References) will help you get to grips with AutoIt syntax. You might also look at the excellent tutorials that you will find here and here.

As to your specific question, I would suggest looking at the following commands in the Help file: :)

Run, Sleep, #NoTrayIcon

Come back if you run into problems.
