martin
Why this don't work if @OSVersion = "WIN_VISTA" then #requireadmin EndIf I think the occurance of #requireadmin anywhere in the script means that full administration rights are needed and the conditions make no difference. Serial port communications UDF Includes functions for binary transmission and reception.printing UDF Useful for graphs, forms, labels, reports etc.Add User Call Tips to SciTE for functions in UDFs not included with AutoIt and for your own scripts.Functions with parameters in OnEvent mode and for Hot Keys One function replaces GuiSetOnEvent, GuiCtrlSetOnEvent and HotKeySet.UDF IsConnected2 for notification of status of connected state of many urls or IPs, without slowing the script. monoceres
I think the occurance of #requireadmin anywhere in the script means that full administration rights are needed and the conditions make no difference.Correct. All '#' directives are extracted at startup and executed. To solve the situation one could use ShellExecute(@ScriptFullPath,"",@ScriptDir,"runas") Broken link? PM me and I'll send you the file! KaFu
Really? Thought this one would do If RegRead("HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System", "ConsentPromptBehaviorAdmin") <> 0 Then #RequireAdmin ; Require ADMIN on Vista only EndIf but reading this, the regread seems pointless ... AdmiralAlkex
@KaFu Why do it the hard way? If IsAdmin() <> 1 Then MsgBox(0, "", "UAC says hello! (or maybe you really aren't an admin :S)") EndIf .Some of my scripts: ShiftER, Codec-Control, Resolution switcher for HTC ShiftSome of my UDFs: SDL UDF, SetDefaultDllDirectories, Converting GDI+ Bitmap/Image to SDL Surface
