iv just found that if i have an .au3 script running and i then open the autoit help it runs my script again? and does so each time i open the help window. dont matter if i open help by F1 or pull down menu.

just a little odd, but prob just me or a known bug which i couldn't find on the forum.

This is a known bug/shortfall in SciTE, you will just have to work around it somehow until it gets fixed (if it ever will).

  • Avoid pressing F1 while SciTE is "active" and have a script running
  • Don't launch script from SciTE

It was asked a couple of times before and is a known issue in SciTE for a long time but not high enough on Niels Hodgson's list to solve:

o right thx, i suspected it was already known & i did look through the bug tickets and search the forum (just an odd bug to concisely describe so i didn't see any thing)

o it's no problem i just wondered more if it was something wrong with my installation/computer but the fact that it's known is good news :)

thx chaps ,

Thx all,Jack Dinn.
