Cannot find accurate window information

I am having some trouble interacting with some program windows. http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/CeZ72MCx8nQef8i6ei9X4w?feat=directlink is a link to a screenshot

In the screen shot you can see the title bar and the program listing on the task bar are different. Using "Transfusion" in the name does activate the program window (but will not maximize if it's minimized). There are two child windows inside that I cannot see to interact with at all. I have used the window too to try and get CLASS names and IDs, but nothing seems to work.

Are there just some programs that will not play nice??

Absolutely, some progs are real bad. I use one at work.

The problem with child windows in these programs is very relevant. On closer look you'll be able to see a pattern in the child windows and their control IDs. If you are only going to use the prog on one machine, you could do with mouseclick and "send".

WHat happens when you use WinList?

Winlist doesn't list the child windows inside. A screenshot here http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/YR2e5cYUptmFCI_5YywhzQ?feat=directlink shows one of the parts I am working with. Basically, I am hopeing to find a way to enter information into the text fields. I am having trouble pointing the cursor where it needs to go. I could jsut use the function keys, but this window could be set up differently on some systems and not have the same fields.
