DarkBoost Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 I have not touched AutoIT for a few months and think I am missing something very basic here as its not matching when it finds the same string result: iso iso Dim $a = StringSplit("microsoft.windows.7-professional-x86.iso", ".") ;example of file listing Dim $b = StringSplit("zip, rar, cab, iso", ",") ;supported extensions Dim $xtn = $a[$a[0]] ;will find/display ISO For $x = 1 To $b[0] If $xtn = $b[$x] Then MsgBox(0, "", "Extension: " & $xtn & @CRLF & "Match: " & $b[$x]) Next
PsaltyDS Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Your string in $b[$x] is not "iso", it's " iso". Either declare the array without the spaces or do a StringTrimWS() on it. PsaltyDS Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 You could also just run it through a RegExp for more geeky goodness: Global $aFiles[5] = ["Test.me.zip", "File.for.testing.rar", "One More - File .cab", "microsoft.windows.7-professional-x86.iso", "NonMatch.exe"] For $n = 0 To UBound($aFiles) - 1 If StringRegExp($aFiles[$n], "(\.zip|\.rar|\.cab|\.iso)\Z", 0) Then ConsoleWrite($n & ": Match" & @LF) Else ConsoleWrite($n & ": No match" & @LF) EndIf Next Valuater's AutoIt 1-2-3, Class...
