Hi i have an issue with my background and image buttons.

The background image is on the background as intended, accept when i try to add a image button it is visually over the button, but funny enough the button can still be clicked.

I've spend some days searching the forums for an answer, but did not find anything besides what i already have.

Heres the conflicting piece.

;BUY NOW!
    $Buynow=GUICtrlCreatePic("Buy_Credits\buy_now.jpg",150,210,132,26,)
    GUICtrlSetOnEvent(-1, "CloseChild2")
    GUICtrlSetCursor(-1,0)
;BACKGROUND
    $bckground=GUICtrlCreatePic("childs\background_childs.jpg",0,30,410,553)
    GUICtrlSetState(-1,$GUI_DISABLE)

Also i have tried this without succes

;BUY NOW!
    $Buynow=GUICtrlCreatePic("Buy_Credits\buy_now.jpg",150,210,132,26,-1,$WS_EX_TOPMOST)
    GUICtrlSetOnEvent(-1, "CloseChild2")
    GUICtrlSetCursor(-1,0)
;BACKGROUND
    $bckground=GUICtrlCreatePic("childs\background_childs.jpg",0,30,410,553)
    GUICtrlSetState(-1,$GUI_DISABLE)

Anyone can think of something else to try?

Hellstrong,

The order of creation of AutoIt pictures can be very important. I know the Help file says:

"If a picture is set as a background picture, as the other controls will overlap, it's important to disable the pic control and create it after the others controls"

but if you create the Background first your button should be visible - it is for me with my jpgs. :)

Hi Melba thanks for your reply.

yea the help file does say that, and it seemed so very logical that it did not even occurred to me to try it in reverse B)

Now i have put it above all other controls it behaves like it should.

Thanks allot ;) you just saved me hours of pulling out my hairs xD
