AlmarM
Hello, I was doing a project wich included a _IsPressed() function. What I want is, everytime you press a key (mouse1 in my example) the variable $Num becomes + 1. What I've tried: #include <Misc.au3> HotKeySet("{ESC}", "_Exit") Global $Num = 0 While 1 If _IsPressed(01) Then $Num += 1 ToolTip("Left Mouse Button Clicked! [" & $Num & "]", MouseGetPos(0) + 15, MouseGetPos(1) + 15) EndIf WEnd Func _Exit() Exit EndFunc But if you put it into a While loop, it will massively increase the counter. How do I fix this? Thanks in advance. Moderators Melba23 Posted December 2, 2009 Moderators Share Posted December 2, 2009 AlmarM,Just wait until the button is released before continuing the loop: #include <Misc.au3> HotKeySet("{ESC}", "_Exit") $dll = DllOpen("user32.dll") Global $Num = 0 While 1 If _IsPressed(01, $dll) Then $Num += 1 ToolTip("Left Mouse Button Clicked! [" & $Num & "]", MouseGetPos(0) + 15, MouseGetPos(1) + 15) While _IsPressed(01, $dll) Sleep(10) WEnd EndIf WEnd Func _Exit() DllClose($dll) Exit EndFuncAnd with over 1000 posts, you ought to know better than to use _IsPressed in a loop without opening the DLL. From the Helpfile: If calling this function repeatedly, should open 'user32.dll' and pass in handle M23 Any of my own code posted anywhere on the forum is available for use by others without any restriction of any kind Open spoiler to see my UDFs: Spoiler ArrayMultiColSort ---- Sort arrays on multiple columnsChooseFileFolder ---- Single and multiple selections from specified path treeview listingDate_Time_Convert -- Easily convert date/time formats, including the language usedExtMsgBox --------- A highly customisable replacement for MsgBoxGUIExtender -------- Extend and retract multiple sections within a GUIGUIFrame ---------- Subdivide GUIs into many adjustable framesGUIListViewEx ------- Insert, delete, move, drag, sort, edit and colour ListView itemsGUITreeViewEx ------ Check/clear parent and child checkboxes in a TreeViewMarquee ----------- Scrolling tickertape GUIsNoFocusLines ------- Remove the dotted focus lines from buttons, sliders, radios and checkboxesNotify ------------- Small notifications on the edge of the displayScrollbars ----------Automatically sized scrollbars with a single commandStringSize ---------- Automatically size controls to fit textToast -------------- Small GUIs which pop out of the notification area
