A way to reduce the IsPressed speed

Hello,

I was doing a project wich included a _IsPressed() function.

What I want is, everytime you press a key (mouse1 in my example) the variable $Num becomes + 1.

What I've tried:

#include <Misc.au3>

HotKeySet("{ESC}", "_Exit")

Global $Num = 0

While 1
    If _IsPressed(01) Then
        $Num += 1
        ToolTip("Left Mouse Button Clicked! [" & $Num & "]", MouseGetPos(0) + 15, MouseGetPos(1) + 15)
    EndIf
WEnd

Func _Exit()
    Exit
EndFunc

But if you put it into a While loop, it will massively increase the counter.

How do I fix this?

Thanks in advance. :)

AlmarM,

Just wait until the button is released before continuing the loop: ;)

#include <Misc.au3>

HotKeySet("{ESC}", "_Exit")

$dll = DllOpen("user32.dll")

Global $Num = 0

While 1
    If _IsPressed(01, $dll) Then
        $Num += 1
        ToolTip("Left Mouse Button Clicked! [" & $Num & "]", MouseGetPos(0) + 15, MouseGetPos(1) + 15)
        While _IsPressed(01, $dll)
            Sleep(10)
        WEnd
    EndIf
WEnd

Func _Exit()
    DllClose($dll)
    Exit
EndFunc

And with over 1000 posts, you ought to know better than to use _IsPressed in a loop without opening the DLL. :)

From the Helpfile: If calling this function repeatedly, should open 'user32.dll' and pass in handle
