ken82m
I know in v2 it was a \n but I've searched through the help file and I don't see it anywhere in V3. any tips? Thanks Again, Kenny I'm a pain in the a** huh "I believe that when we leave a place, part of it goes with us and part of us remains... Go anywhere, when it is quiet, and just listen.. After a while, you will hear the echoes of all our conversations, every thought and word we've exchanged.... Long after we are gone our voices will linger in these walls for as long as this place remains."
Developers Jos Posted February 18, 2004 Developers Share Posted February 18, 2004 (edited) you can use @LF for that.. msgbox(4096,"Title","Line1" & @LF & "Line2") Edited February 18, 2004 by JdeB SciTE4AutoIt3 Full installer Download page - Beta files Read before posting How to post scriptsource Forum etiquette Forum Rules Live for the present, Dream of the future, Learn from the past. scriptkitty
I prefer @CRLF if you get used to it, you won't make any dos conversions on later scripts, such as FileWriteLine($file, "Line2" & @CRLF) of course it is more typing. Some windows programs will act a bit funny if you have @cr or @lf instead of @CRLF. AutoIt3, the MACGYVER Pocket Knife for computers.
trids
Some windows programs will act a bit funny if you have @cr or @lf instead of @CRLF... and some DOS programs too (isql.exe for SYBASE seems to be particularly picky )
