:aham: which, by the way, is equivalent to bumping it once more...

Now to answer your initial question, you should familiarize yourself with DllCall AutoIt function, then try to implement by yourself simple Windows Dll calls to better understand how it works. Then do the same with DllStruct*. Compare your code with the code in AutoIt standard UDF to further guide you.

After you have a solid background in calling dlls and dealing with data structures from AutoIt, go thru the SDK documenation and select which call you need to implement. Then code, debug and you're home.

Looks like the right way, doesn't it?

This wonderful site allows debugging and testing regular expressions (many flavors available). An absolute must have in your bookmarks.

SQLite Expert (freeware Personal Edition or payware Pro version) is a very useful SQLite database manager.
An excellent eBook covering almost every aspect of SQLite3: a must-read for anyone doing serious work.
SQL tutorial (covers "generic" SQL, but most of it applies to SQLite as well)
A work-in-progress SQLite3 tutorial. Don't miss other LxyzTHW pages!
SQLite official website with full documentation (may be newer than the SQLite library that comes standard with AutoIt)

First go read the help for DllCall. If you have enough technical knowledge to grasp most of it, then go on and _try_ to call some simple Wndows API.

If you're completely at lost at this first step, then you should probably consider this project as a bit too hard for you right now.
