typeleven
is there any way to have the tool tip for the autoit taskbar icon report the last executed line number? or something that will give me a clue as to where in the script it has hung up? BrettF
If your code is hung up place error checking in yourself... Its easier and better. The easiest way to do this is by using the FULL version of SciTe (see my sig). You have the option of adding trace lines by going Tools -> Add Trace lines. This will write what is happening in your script to the console of SciTe. Cheers, Brett EDIT: Also certain function calls or algorithms may slow your code down. Posting your code after running the trace may allow us to help you better.
