supersonic,

Not directly, but if you have the data to populate the first ListView, you can just update both ListViews at the same time. Something like this:

For $i = 1 To $aIndex[0]
    GUICtrlCreateListViewItem($aIndex[$i], $hList_1)
    GUICtrlCreateListViewItem($aIndex[$i], $hList_2)
Next

I hope this helps, even if it is not what you wanted to hear! :D

melba,

that's what I'm actually practicing... :-)

But with large ListViews and some CallBacks this becomes rather slow... :-(

Can the Common Extended Styles "$WS_EX_MDICHILD" help me out?

I cannot imagine how - why do you think it might?

supersonic,

A nice thought - but no! :D

"Multiple-document interface (MDI) applications enable you to display multiple documents at the same time, with each document displayed in its own window. MDI applications often have a Window menu item with submenus for switching between windows or documents."

Think of SciTE, or another app which lets you open several things at once. Each of the tabs is an MDI_CHILD of the parent.

P.S. When you reply please use the "Add Reply" button at the top and bottom of the page rather then the "Reply" button in the post itself. That way you do not get the contents of the previous post quoted in your reply and the whole thread becomes easier to read. :huggles:

You could crete the ListView outside of the tabs. Then you can show it when you want, but you have to implement a custom logic if you don't want it to show up on all Tabs.

#include<GUIConstantsEx.au3>
GUICreate("test")
$Tabs = GUICtrlCreateTab(10, 10, 300, 200)
$Tab1 = GUICtrlCreateTabItem("one")
$Tab2 = GUICtrlCreateTabItem("two")
$Tab3 = GUICtrlCreateTabItem("three")
GUICtrlCreateTabItem("")

$Label = GUICtrlCreateLabel("Shown on Tab 1+3", 20, 50, 170, 30)

GUISetState()

While 1
    Switch GUIGetMsg()
        Case -3
            Exit
        Case $Tabs
            Switch GUICtrlRead($Tabs, 1)
                Case $Tab1, $Tab3
                    GUICtrlSetState($Label ,$GUI_SHOW)
                Case $Tab2
                    GUICtrlSetState($Label ,$GUI_HIDE)
            EndSwitch
    EndSwitch
WEnd
