Is IE attached?

Recommended Posts

Hey all,

I'm not sure if i can explain this properly but here goes.

As you can see the script below its like..

Window Open? No? then create complete new instances. Window Open? attach to it!

#include <ie.au3>

$LoginURL = "www.google.com"
Global $oIE

Hotkeyset("^!{space}","OpenWindowsCHK")

While 1=1
sleep(10)
Wend

Func OpenWindowsCHK()

    Local $winTitle = "Interface Search - "

    If WinExists($winTitle) Then
        $Hwnd = WinGetHandle($winTitle)
        $oIE = _IEAttach($hwnd, "HWND")
    Else
        $oIE = _IECreate($LoginURL)
    EndIf
EndFunc

How to i go about saying "is $oIE already attached to a browser instance? if not then... (do whats above)?

This is really one of those simple annoying things i just can't figure out. :D

Thanks

Steve

Doesn't work needs to be ripped out of the troubleshooting lexicon. It means that what you tried did not produce the results you expected. It begs the questions 1) what did you try?, 2) what did you expect? and 3) what happened instead?

Reproducer: a small (the smallest?) piece of stand-alone code that demonstrates your trouble
