Help with HotKeys

Recommended Posts

Here's the thing i have a problem occasionally when my mouse stop responding and cant work again until i start some program and i have found a solution to that.

It something like this: When my mouse stops responding i want to set a script that will always run in a background, when ever my computer starts to start that script, so when ever i press for example ALT+D to start a program that will enable to my mouse work properly. This is important because i do not won't to exit some game or what ever to search for this program in program files. I created a batch file to start this program but i don't know how to set that when i press some key to activate this program. Because this needs to bee done with keyboard because when my mouse stops there is no other help. Can any one help me with this? Thx

glukamin,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. :D

First thought - fix the problem!

But if you want to run your batch file every time, something like this might work:

; Set HotKey to Alt-D
HotKeySet(("^d"), "_MouseFix")

While 1
   Sleep(10)
WEnd

Func _MouseFix()
    ; Run your batch file
    Run(@ComSpec & " /c " & 'YourBatFile.bat', "", @SW_HIDE)
EndFunc

You might want to add another HotKey to exit the script - but I leave that to you. :huggles:
