hot202 Posted February 16, 2010 Share Posted February 16, 2010 hi i know about the +R but what i would like to do is make it so a file is readonly but make it so autoit can still edit the file can that be done? or doi have to run FileSetAttrib just before i want to do something and make it so its not read only? danielkza Posted February 16, 2010 Share Posted February 16, 2010 (edited) File attributes are not program specific, they're global. You'd need to remove the read-only flag before opening the file, modify the content as needed, and reset the attribute afterwards.
