Hi

I'm sure that this is so simple that even a 2 year old kid could do it, but but i have now tried to calc how to put my gui in the right corner of the screen for ½ hour and still i cant get i to work  .

I have no prob placing it at the right side using @desktopWidht - $GuiWidth , but getting it to the top i can't find out.

Can any one help me with this?

Cheers

Since the top of the screen is 0 you might want to try using that. Recommendation: @DeskTopWidth - ($GUIWidth +5) is better than what you have.

$Frm_main = GUICreate("My GUI", $GUIWidth, $GUIHeight, @DeskTopWidth - ($GUIWidth +5), 0)

Rex,

GUICreate("Test", $GUI_Width, $GUI_Height, @DesktopWidth - $GUI_Width, 0) will put it top right.

GUICreate("Test", $GUI_Width, $GUI_Height, @DesktopWidth - $GUI_Width, @DeskTopHeight - $GUI_Height) will put it bottom right - although you might have to adjust for the taskbar.

You'll also want to watch out for Aero's tricks if you're on Vista/Win 7:

the Aero layer appears to extend about 7 pixels on all sides beyond

the window size reported by WinGetPos() - haven't managed to

stomach it (=Aero) long enough to be sure if that holds true for

all themes though ...
