Can you have more than 1 TimerInit() functions in a loop?

ie a) $timer1 = TimerInit() with TimerDiff($timer1)

$timer2 = TimerInit() with TimerDiff($timer2)

From your question i didn`t understand what the problem. This works for me.

While 1
$begin = TimerInit()
sleep(3000)
$dif = TimerDiff($begin)
FileWrite(@ScriptDir&"\first.txt",$dif & @CRLF)
second()


WEnd

Func second()
    $second=TimerInit()
Sleep(2500)
$diff2=TimerDiff($second)
FileWrite(@ScriptDir&"\begin.txt",$second & @CRLF)
EndFunc ;<==second()

for sure. TimerInit only gives you a timestamp to variable!

But your question could have been answered by yourself just by coding......

$timer1 = Timerinit ()
sleep (1000)
$timer2 = Timerinit ()
sleep (1000)
MsgBox (0,"","Timer1: " & TimerDiff ($timer1) / 1000 & " s" & @CRLF & "Timer2: " & TimerDiff ($timer2) / 1000 & " s")

TimerInit is just cloning (more or less) the current windows Epoch value to an AutoIt variable. In fact, the timervalue returned is the integral millisecond value of Win epoch (which is a 100ns timer). So you can call it any number of times <g>, "restart" it without risking anyone' life. And all that free!
