V3.2.2.0 script in 3.3.6.0

Recommended Posts

I found an old script I'd worked on in v3.2.2.0 but if i try to run in 3.3.6.0 i get errors about certain include files. running in a previous version is fine.

i want to incorporate some of the older script into a new script so i need it to be compatible with 3.3.6.0. is there any way of converting or updating the old script to run properly in 3.3.6.0?

darkleton,

This topic will help, but I am afraid you are in for a period of heavy debugging.

Look on the bright side, when it is done you will be much better educated about AutoIt functions and syntax than most here. :)

And if you use the full SciTE4AutoIt3 package, you have a whole host of helpers such as Au3Check to point out the errors, SciTE to let you go to affected lines on a double-click, function tooltips, F1 help, etc, etc, etc. If you do not have the full package, it is well worth the download from here. :(
