FinalVersion,

They are the coordinate values of the corners: :(

x1, y1  #--------------------------# x2, y1
        #                          #
        #                          #
        #                          #
        #                          #
x1, y2  #--------------------------# x2, y2

Left   = x1
Top    = y1
Right  = x2
Bottom = y2

Finalversion,

How do you write any code if you do not understand this simple concept then? :(

You position a label in a GUI like this GUICtrlCreateLabel("Fred", 10, 10, 100, 50). The coordinates of the label are are as follows:

This is the GUI:
#------------------------------------------------#
|                                                |
|        This is the lbel                       |
| 10, 10 #--------------------------# 110, 10    |
|        |                          |            |
|        |                          |            |
|        |                          |            |
|        |                          |            |
| 10, 60 #--------------------------# 110, 60    |
|                                                |
|                                                |
#------------------------------------------------#

Left   = 10
Top    = 10
Right  = Left + Width = 10 + 100 = 110
Bottom = Top + Height = 10 + 50  = 60

Some functions need Left, Top, Width, Height. Others need Left, Top, Right, Bottom. Just read the Help file carefully to see which. :)

It is like when using an area selection tool, you start at the top left corner and go to the bottom right corner. Those are the 2 coordinates you need.

So basically, ( left, top, right, bottom,

left, top= x,y of the top-left corner of your area

right, bottom=x,y of the bottom-right corner of your area

x,y

...|--------|

...|........|

...|--------|

.............x,y
