bvr
I"m trying to get autoit to activate a simple window, and it doesn't work on Vista. It worked on my XP computer back in 2005, but now it doesn't with Vista? ;Date: August 25, 2005 ;Author: Brandon M. Moderators Melba23 Posted March 23, 2010 Moderators Share Posted March 23, 2010 bmroyer,There is no problem with WinMove and Vista. I would suggest that the error is in your use of "untitled" as the window title.if you want to run the script from SciTE, you must first save it - so the SciTE window now has the path and name of your script as the title. If you therefore change your script to look for that, it works without problem and moves the SciTE window to the corner:Sleep(500) WinActivate ( @ScriptFullPath ) Sleep(500) WinMove ( @ScriptFullPath, '', 0, 0 ) sleep(100)I hope this solves your problem. nf67
Or you could simply use: Sleep(5000) WinMove("[active]","",0,0) to move the active window (after 5 seconds) and see if it works. As Melba said, it's supposed to work just fine in Vista (I used 64-bit).
