[SOLVED] Create Panel Control

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm searching how to create a panel control with height scrollbar (when controls in are out of range)

I think it's possible with _WinAPI_CreateWindowEx and some styles

Thanks, FireFox.

Doesn't that require .Net forms? I'm not sure, but I don't think AutoIt has access to that API.

:(

I don't know, i'm just surprised that the Panel is not an included GUI control Posted Image

I have made a screenshot of a program that I've made with some panels :

In red this is the panel where you have the search results, and in green this is the panel scrollbar because there is results out of the panel (down)

It would be disappointing if autoit does not support this control Posted Image

FireFox.

FireFox,

Do you mean something like this? :(

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>
#Include <GuiScrollBars.au3>
#include <ScrollBarConstants.au3>

        $yPos = $Pos

    Return $GUI_RUNDEFMSG

EndFunc   ;==>WM_VSCROLL

I have yet to work out formulae for the Scrollbar Max and Page setting which work consistently to stop the scroll at the end of the child GUI. :) At the moment I can only get an approximative solution which I then fine-tune by hand. Hence the hard coded numbers in the script.

Woow ! Posted Image That's exactly what I want, thank you :)

It's ok for the scrollbar.

Cheers, FireFox.
