Merchants Posted April 14, 2010 Share Posted April 14, 2010 (edited) got a problem white run programs if i run notepad for run is this not a problem but if i wana run a exe that is also not a problem but here is the exe makes normal files in the exe directory but i run it form my desktop and the exe is now making files on my desktop not the exe directory any ideas how to fix this ? Yoriz Posted April 14, 2010 Share Posted April 14, 2010 Sorry but i dont really understand from your discription what the problem is, you say you have some (unknown to us) exe that makes files in its own directory but if you put it on the desktop it makes files there, it sounds like that whats its made to do, if your was to just put a shortcut to it on the desktop it would carry on making files in the exe location ?
