cueclub
I am trying to create a combo box that will put info into the box from a set ini file. here is what I have so far$c1 = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "\settings.ini", "C", "1st", $CN1) $c2 = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "\settings.ini", "C", "2nd", $CN2) $c3 = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "\settings.ini", "C", "3rd", $CN3) $c4 = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "\settings.ini", "C", "4th", $CN4) $c5 = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "\settings.ini", "C", "5th", $CN5) $c6 = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "\settings.ini", "C", "6th", $CN6) $c7 = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "\settings.ini", "C", "7th", $CN7) $c8 = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "\settings.ini", "C", "8th", $CN8) $c9 = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "\settings.ini", "C", "9th", $CN9) $c10 = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "\settings.ini", "C", "10th", $CN10) $c11 = GUICtrlCreateCombo($c1, 10, 30, 100) GUICtrlSetData(-1, "$c2|$c3|$c4|$c5|$c6|$c7|$c8|$c9|$c10")and I have also tried it as $c1 = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "\settings.ini", "C", "1st", $CN1) $c2 = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "\settings.ini", "C", "2nd", $CN2) $c3 = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "\settings.ini", "C", "3rd", $CN3) $c4 = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "\settings.ini", "C", "4th", $CN4) $c5 = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "\settings.ini", "C", "5th", $CN5) $c6 = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "\settings.ini", "C", "6th", $CN6) $c7 = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "\settings.ini", "C", "7th", $CN7) $c8 = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "\settings.ini", "C", "8th", $CN8) $c9 = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "\settings.ini", "C", "9th", $CN9) $c10 = IniRead(@ScriptDir & "\settings.ini", "C", "10th", $CN10) $c11 = GUICtrlCreateCombo($c1, 10, 30, 100) GUICtrlSetData(-1, $c2|$c3|$c4|$c5|$c6|$c7|$c8|$c9|$c10)$c1 comes through, but neither way seems to work in getting the rest of the required info. Is there a separate function to do this? GUICtrlSetData(-1, "$c2|$c3|$c4|$c5|$c6|$c7|$c8|$c9|$c10")Thanks for your inputCue Edited April 23, 2010 by cueclub
Moderators Melba23 Posted April 23, 2010 Moderators Share Posted April 23, 2010 cueclub, You have to get the whole thing into a string. Try this: GUICtrlSetData(-1, $c2 & "|" & $c3 & "|" & $c4 & "|" & $c5 & "|" & $c6 & "|" & $c7 & "|" & $c8 & "|" & $c9 & "|" & $c10) M23 Any of my own code posted anywhere on the forum is available for use by others without any restriction of any kind Open spoiler to see my UDFs: Spoiler ArrayMultiColSort ---- Sort arrays on multiple columnsChooseFileFolder ---- Single and multiple selections from specified path treeview listingDate_Time_Convert -- Easily convert date/time formats, including the language usedExtMsgBox --------- A highly customisable replacement for MsgBoxGUIExtender -------- Extend and retract multiple sections within a GUIGUIFrame ---------- Subdivide GUIs into many adjustable framesGUIListViewEx ------- Insert, delete, move, drag, sort, edit and colour ListView itemsGUITreeViewEx ------ Check/clear parent and child checkboxes in a TreeViewMarquee ----------- Scrolling tickertape GUIsNoFocusLines ------- Remove the dotted focus lines from buttons, sliders, radios and checkboxesNotify ------------- Small notifications on the edge of the displayScrollbars ----------Automatically sized scrollbars with a single commandStringSize ---------- Automatically size controls to fit textToast -------------- Small GUIs which pop out of the notification area

Yoriz
Depends how your ini file contents are formated but probably something like GUICtrlSetData(-1, $c2 & "|" & $c3 & "|" & $c4 & "|" & $c5 & "|" & $c6 & "|" & $c7 & "|" & $c8 & "|" & $c9 & "|" & $c10) Edited April 23, 2010 by Yoriz GDIPlusDispose - A modified version of GDIPlus that auto disposes of its own objects before shutdown of the Dll using the same function Syntax as the original.EzMySql UDF - Use MySql Databases with autoit with syntax similar to SQLite UDF.
