erde
hi, im new to autoit and wanted to ask a question regarding the jukebox im hoping to program. is there a way to check if SoundPlay() or something else has finished? because, if im using the optional parameter to stop the script, i couldnt implement a stop button for the music, and i want several sounds to play after eachother. greets erde
Moderators Melba23 Posted April 24, 2010 Moderators Share Posted April 24, 2010 erde,Welcome to the AutoIt forum. Look at the Sound.au3 UDF - it is the one with all the _Sound* functions you see in the Help file. It has a _SoundStatus command which does exactly what you want. But you have to use the other _Sound* functions to open, play, resume, stop, etc. your music file. Do not try and mix the built-in SoundPlay - it will end in tears! Moderators Melba23 Posted April 24, 2010 Moderators Share Posted April 24, 2010 erde,it wasnt documentedThe UDFs are very well documented in the Help file. Are you running "C:\Program Files\AutoIt3\AutoIt3Help.exe" as your Help file? That is where you will find all of them listed and explained.M23P.S. When you reply please use the "Add Reply" button at the top and bottom of the page rather then the "Reply" button in the post itself. That way you do not get the contents of the previous post quoted in your reply and the whole thread becomes easier to read.
