Pottery Posted May 1, 2010 Share Posted May 1, 2010 I've looked at most of the posts on reading text from a webpage but it still hasn't helped me.. What I'm trying to do is make a download client for my website, I want the client to read the Index of page (example: http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/) and when the user clicks the "Readme" button for example, the client downloads the readme.txt from that webpage to the desktop.. I don't want to put the files compiled into the client because it would be useless to put out a new client everytime I update one of the downloadable files.
