Recommended Posts

Ok I need to do the following:

eg.

INI file:

test.ini

[Drive]
drive1 = C:\test\test1

$var

$drive= IniRead("C:\test.ini", "Drive", "drive1", "")

And Change it to

$Ldrive= /cygdrive/C/test/test1

And while i am doing this change i need to capture the last folder name of the drive path

to use throughout my script

eg

INI file test.ini
[Drive]
drive1 = C:\test\test1
end of ini

start of script

$drive= IniRead("C:\test.ini", "Drive", "drive1", "")
$Folder = test1

I really have been struggling with StringReplace and StringRegExpReplace.

I appreciate any help anyone will give me

Try this:

$drive= IniRead("C:\test.ini", "Drive", "drive1", "")
$drive = StringReplace($drive, '\', '/')
$Ldrive = StringRegExpReplace($drive, "(?i)([a-z]):(.*)", "/cygdrive/$1$2")
$Folder = StringRegExp($Ldrive, "([^/]+)$", 3)
; The last folder in path is in $Folder[0]
ConsoleWrite($Ldrive & @LF)
ConsoleWrite($Folder[0] & @LF)

That should make Cygnus happy...
